The company wants to broaden its cat travel services to meet the needs of increased global tourism and relocation.
Global dog and cat flight and relocation company Animal Airways will upgrade its airline ticketing department. The company is scouting worldwide for travel agencies and tour operators, in order to provide a comprehensive travel package for the families with cats.
Global tourism and relocation lead the reasons for air travel with cats and dogs. Both increased continuously over the past few years and created an additional demand for specialized services to dog and cat shipping.
Animal Airways is part of a veterinarian institute, established in order to assist millions of cat owners flying with cats or shipping them abroad as cargo. Among the company's services — including pre-flight veterinarian support, documents and regulation check, shuttles to and from international airports — the company offers a complete "travel kit" for families with airline tickets for family members and their cats.
"Although our target audience is diverse, every single client is concerned with shipping his pet safely and comfortably," Dr. Eytan Kreiner, Animal Airways' head veterinarian, said in a release. "Animal Airways was one of the first companies to recognize this need and offer a professional solution combining pet safety, health, comfort and wellbeing".
Kreiner says the company is expanding the ticketing department in order to reach new clients and improve the services available to the UK-based company's regular clients. Animal Airways has two U.S. offices, one in New York City and one in Los Angeles, and is interested in collaboration with travel agencies and travel operators worldwide.
The upgraded ticketing department will provide customers from across the globe with 24/7 service, offering airline tickets for people and pets as well as consultation regarding flight and journey plans, overnight boarding solutions, pet-friendly hotels and resorts, ground services at the airport and more.
